Sunny Si graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from The University of Sheffield, England in 1982. He obtained his Diploma in Law at The City University, London in 1984. In 1985 he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Practice and was called to the Degree of Barrister by the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn. In 1986 he was admitted to the High Court in Borneo Roll of Advocates and joined Idris & Co. Advocates, Kuching in 1986. He is a Commissioner for Oath since 1996.
Caroline Chien Chin Yii
Caroline Chien graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand in 2001 with a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration (majoring in Accountancy & Commercial Law). She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of London in 2005. In 2008 she completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). Upon completing her pupilage with SI & Associates, Caroline was admitted to the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak’s Roll of Advocates in 2010 and made partner in 2010. Her area of practice includes civil litigation.
Laura Kong Hwee Lin
Laura Kong obtained her Diploma in Law from SEGI College Sarawak, Kuching in 2010. She graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) QUT Australia in 2013 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland. In 2014 Laura was admitted to the High Court in Sabah & Sarawak Roll of Advocates. She was a student intern in Arthur Lee, Lin & Co., Kuching in 2010 and did placement in Moray & Agnew Lawyers, Australia in 2013. Laura completed her pupillage with SI & Associates, Kuching from 2013 to 2014 and thereafter practised as legal assistant. She made partner in 2021.
Lina Ngui Ing Ing
Lina Ngui completed her Diploma in Law in SEGI College Sarawak, Kuching in 2012. She is a graduate from University of Northumbria, United Kingdom with an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2013. She obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) from Bond University, Australia in 2016 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland. In 2017 Lina was admitted to the High Court in Sabah & Sarawak Roll of Advocates. She underwent student internship with Arthur Lee, Lin & Co., Kuching from 2010 to 2011. In 2015 Lina did work placement in Berrigan Doube Lawyers, Australia, She completed her pupillage with SI & Associates, Kuching from 2016 to 2017 and continued as legal assistant before being made partner in 2021.
Jason Sia Rui Yong
Jason Sia obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Cardiff University, Wales in 2023. He went on to take the Barristers Training Course (PGDip) at Nottingham Trent University, England and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in July 2024. Then, Jason completed his pupillage with Sulong & Co. Advocates, Kuching in 2025 and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in 2026. Shortly after admission, Jason joined SI & Associates and is now legal assistant.
